Another one of those campaign days trying to be three places at once. The morning started with the Newport Rodeo Parade, marching with the Cathy McMorris Rodgers parade entry. A little girl came along as I was chatting with Cathy’s staffers (Drew and Lonnie) and volunteers, and she asked for my autograph along with all the community princesses and dignitaries. I think that’s the first time I’ve been asked for an autograph! Then a dash back to Lincoln County for the Christian Heritage School 25th Anniversary in Edwall. After a couple of hours getting a few stray sheep corralled and all the animals fed it was time to head off to Chelan for the Washington Rural Health Association Board retreat.
